Students from grades IIB, IIIA, and IVA participated in a film workshop at the Lower Silesian Film Centre (DCF). The workshop focused on the novel The Peasants by Władysław Reymont. Students had the opportunity to watch a visually stunning adaptation of this famous book, which served as a starting point for lively discussions on the principles of community life – the key theme of the workshop.

During the session, students worked in groups, analyzing various film elements found in The Peasants. For the younger classes, it was an opportunity to delve deeper into the book, while for the older students, it was an excellent review ahead of their final exams. The workshop also provided a chance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Reymont’s Nobel Prize in Literature for his epic on peasant life.
