As every year, our school proudly took part in the Daffodil Campaign, commemorating the 81st anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This initiative honors the memory of the heroes and victims of the 1943 uprising and pays tribute to Marek Edelman, one of its leaders and lifelong guardian of remembrance.
Last week, our students engaged in meaningful activities by creating handmade daffodil stickers, which they shared with classmates while discussing the historical events and the significance of remembering.
📅 On April 14, a mini-exhibition dedicated to the uprising was set up on the ground floor. It served as an educational space where students could learn more about the events of April 1943.
📅 On April 16, we held a “Yellow Day”, during which students distributed paper daffodils and shared short presentations in classrooms about the uprising. During the long break, we gathered for a commemorative group photo on the school landing 💛 – a symbolic gesture of our collective reflection and solidarity.
Our school officially joined the nationwide campaign organized by the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. You can read more about the initiative at the museum’s website.
We sincerely thank all students and teachers for their commitment and for helping to build a culture of remembrance. To remember is to act.
