This year’s Independence Day celebrations were different than usual. The tradition of our school is an extensive celebration of this day, where in addition to the formal part, we carry out a number of other activities, such as quizzes, creative tasks and performances. Unfortunately the limitations related to the pandemic have condemned us this year to invent a different, more modest formula of the celebration.

In order not to lose the sense of community, we suggested that the students create a collage of photos with a flag. We received a lot of photos, and the graphics next to this text shows the effect of the action “Selfie with a flag”.

It will remain with us as a memento of difficult times, but also as proof that we are together despite of difficulties.
